Symposium fees

Reduced fees are granted for participants and accompanying persons who register till 1^st May 2018. Registration form is accessible here. If you register a lecture, please send your abstract before 1^st July 2018.

The symposium fee should be paid to Rokycany & Plzen Observatory bank account by bank transfer. We kindly ask those of you who have registered after 1^st May 2018 or will register after this date, to cover your registration fee within 14 days since your registration. Rokycany & Plzen Observatory cannot accept credit card payment.

Upon registration you will get an e-mail including all the details necessary for your payment.

Registration fee includes:

Welcome reception on Friday evening with BBQ and drinks
Social dinner on Saturday
Admission to lectures on Saturday and Sunday including coffee break, lunch and refreshment
Abstract booklet and symposium information folder
Wireless access in conference center

Registration fee for accompanying person includes:

Welcome reception on Friday evening with BBQ and drinks
Social dinner on Saturday
Information folder for “Ladies program” on Saturday and Sunday incl. gate-money

Excursion fees:

The minimum number of participants per excursion is 15 persons. So do not delay with your registration to ensure that your excursion will not be cancelled due to lack of participants.

Monday: 50 EUR (guided Karlovy Vary spa town tour, lunch, visit of Bečov nad Teplou Castle)

Tuesday: 40 EUR (visit of Kozel Castle, Radyně Castle, lunch, guided Plzeň city tour – spire of Cathedral of St. Bartholomew, and Brewery Museum Tour)

Getting to Rokycany

The nearest airport Václav Havel Airport Prague (PRG) is in Prague (Czech Republic). The train from Prague (Praha) takes to Rokycany about 1.5 hrs. Highway from Prague to Rokycany is D5, exit 62. Highway from Germany's Autobahn A6 to Rokycany is D5, Exit 67 to Ejpovice and via road 605 to Rokycany. Note: Exit 62 from Germany/Plzen direction is CLOSED from 12.08.2018 to 29.08.2018! Use Exit 67, otherwise you will have to travel to Exit 50, it is 22 km further.
